1963 Ford Galaxie 500 convertible. Just out of a Ford Dealers
personal estate. Great restoration of an excellent surviver to
begin with. Did not need any frame, floors, body mount or any work
in trunk, so is an outstanding frame-on restore. Done is 1963 Ford
Ragoon Red. Done professionally in dealers own shop. Totally
straight, excellent stainless, chrome and new front bumper. Paint
is smooth and very attractive. All new complete weather stripping,
excellent top, top boot and rear boot covering. Trunk is dry and
detailed. Original spare and jacks. Car includes stainless fender
skirts for that slick look. Interior is also very attractive with
correct buckets and console for a 63. New front seat material, new
carpet, new visors, new dash pad. New door panels and arm rests.
Correct stock fresh 289 V8 runs great. Smooth/tight stock
automatic. Stock 325:1 Highway gears. Nice rare find with power
steering and power brakes. Motor and motor bay is nicely detailed.
Only 96K on body = only 1777 average/year. New seat belts, new
expensive white side walls, excellent correct hub caps. Recent dual
exhaust and shocks. No cracks in steering wheel. Always stored on
show floor. Great quality throughout and very pretty example of a
