The 1970 Plymouth AAR 'Cuda offered for sale here is one of the
most meticulously documented and well-restored examples we've ever
seen. It's been with its current owner since 1993, the same man who
restored it himself in 1995, putting in over 1000 hours into the
build. It was a fully optioned car, according to its window
sticker, including the high-impact Lemon Twist paint color, a
tinted windshield, front spoiler, AM radio, fast ratio power
steering, and more.
The car was sold for the first time by a dealership in Georgia, but the first owner took it with him to California less than a year later where the car has lived its life entirely ever since. It still maintains its original numbers-matching engine and transmission, as well as its original dash and gauges. It has just 60,000 original miles on it, and around 500 miles since the full restoration.

This AAR 'Cuda, finished in Lemon Twist on Black, is 1 of 1,120 4-speeds to leave the Hamtramck factory in 1970, the only year of production for the AAR 'Cudas, and 1 of only a few hundred finished in this color. It has been extremely well-maintained, stored in a climate controlled environment, and regularly serviced to keep it in proper turnkey running order. It comes with an original-style battery for display/show purposes, spare tire in the trunk, and a car cover to protect its impeccable paint job. Extra documentation includes:
-copy of original window sticker, broadcast sheet, first title from GA, and other ownership history
-photos of every part used during the restoration
-extensive photo documentation during the restoration
-photos of all casting numbers and VIN stamps
-a small box of extra parts, including belts, hood hinges, some miscellaneous screws, and more
-a box of the award placards won at multiple Mopar events, as well as accompanying posters shown in car at each show
-handwritten notes about the restoration in a notebook provided by the restorer
-binder of extensive information about V8 engine maintenance/restoration, period correct magazine ads, reference docs, original owner's manual
-and much, much, more!
This AAR 'Cuda is an absolute stunner- rust-free, straight-bodied, and in nearly perfect condition. It's an excellent example of the result of an incredibly detailed and accurate restoration and accompanying documentation. Additionally included in the documentation is a Chrysler Performance West body tag break down. There is a scan included in the additional photos, but tag specifics are listed below:
