Real SS 396 with correct motor. Just had a body off restoration.
The fit is incredible. Every panel on the body fits perfectly
square and flush. Doors click shut with your pinky. Hats off to the
bodyman that restored this car, it is better then factory. The
paint is a really sharp metallic red that's laid out like glass.
Jambs are just as slick. Chrome and trim front and back is new, it
sparkles. Weatherstrips and windshield are new. Brightly polished
wheels on new BFG tires look great. Motor compartment is detailed
neat as pin. Interior is in very nice shape. Upholstery is a 9 out
of 10, dash are is excellent. Trunk compartment Has clean painted
metal, new mat, a jack and spare. Nice white top. Even the
underside of this car is detailed. Front end is all new. Exhaust,
gas tank, shocks, driveshaft are new. Has boxed rear control arms.
Only 2,286 SS convertibles built total in 1968. This is a beautiful
car that is exceptionally nice!
