Here is a super rare factory built 1981 Moselle Roadster that was inspired by the 1928 Mercedes Benz SS roadsters that are over 5 million dollars now. Only a few were built by Moselle Specialty Cars Inc., in Woodland Hills, Woodland Hills, CA. they were $37,500 as a base price 36 years ago, which would be well over $125,000 today. the comedian Rich Little owned a white one we sold 4 years ago. Titled as a 1981 Moselle & powered by a peppy 2.3 liter turbocharged Ford 4 cylinder with a C4 automatic tranny, air conditioning, power brakes & steering, fold out cool rumble seat, side supercharger pipes, twin antique styled horns, center spot light, rear mounted spare tire, 5 real chrome wire wheels, roll up windows, & hand etched side vent windows, Mercedes hood ornament, Moselle script on sides of car, rumble seat steps, dual hood straps, pinstripes, tan top & top boot, tan Naugahyde bench seat, 2 piece chrome bumpers, 5 brand new whitewall tires, 17 feet long with 137" wheelbase, & a solid 3200 pounds. Original paint is showing age, with some scratches, & chips touched up & a few small bubbles under the paint, side cowl lamps, AM/FM/Stereo, & showing around 47,246 miles in 36 years, or around 1312 miles per year, which is nothing.
