The Pantera is a mid engine sports car produced by the De Tomaso car company of Italy from 1971 to 1992. A Italian designed body , Ford powered sports car was a collaboration between Ford and De Tomaso. There were only 262 GT-5's produced in the whole Pantera Model Production. My Pantera, 1985 GT-5, is very rare. Only 30 were imported to the U.S. I bought this car new, and it has never been driven in the rain. My Pantera is 33 years old, but looks and drives like new. Show quality Burgandy paint. Specially built 351ci Cleveland, bored and stroked to 401ci. For too long the Pantera's were undervalued, but they are now appreciating rapidly as the market begins to treat them like the Ferrari and Maserati contempraries that they are.
