Close ratio transmissions like the 6-speed manual this V8 is bolted to are a blast to drive to operate- plenty of gearing for great off the line acceleration while leaving two overdrive gears for the high end. The increased firmness of the added Level II suspension ups this Camaro's corner-carving skills significantly and, with acclaimed Chevy anti-lock power disc brakes at all four corners, there's plenty of stopping power when needed.
