1967 PLYMOUTH BARRACUDA HARDTOP COUPE This 1967 Plymouth Barracuda
hardtop coupe remains as originally manufactured on December 14,
1967 as attested by the VIN and trim Tag decode. Powered by the
original Code 31 273ci 4.5L V-8 coupled to a 3 speed automatic
transmission Code 5 , it is original as manufactured. The recent
repaint in original Code ZZ1 Poly Metallic Gold exterior is
complimented by the Code H6X black vinyl bucket seat interior. The
original body panels are undamaged and retain all original
fasteners. All glass appears to be original and in pristine
condition as is all chrome and trims. The engine bay is pristine
and original down to the Protecto plate holder on left inner
fender. The odometer shows less than 18,100 miles which is thought
to be original but unverified by documents. Brand new original
style white wall tires. The radio is original AM model. The
second-generation Barracuda, with its 108 in wheelbase A-body,
still shared many components with the Valiant but was stylishly
redesigned with model-specific sheet metal, and a convertible and
hardtop coupe joining the original fastback offering. The new
Barracuda featured many unique design features with Coke-bottle
side contours and heavily revised front and rear ends. Design cues
included a concave rear deck panel, wider wheel openings, curved
side glass, and S-curved roof pillars on the hardtop. The rear
portion of the roof on the fastback coupe was more streamlined, and
the back glass, raked at a substantially horizontal angle, was much
smaller compared with that of the previous model. Also, the use of
chrome trim on the external sheet metal was more restrained. Some
points of interest with the 1967 Barracudas were that the front and
rear bumpers were identical. They have the same license plate
