***MS CLASSIC CARS PURCHASES BEAUTIFUL CLASSIC VEHILCES THAT WE’VE COMPLETELY SERVICED AND DETAILED UNLIKE MOST CLASSIC VEHICLES THAT ARE CURRENTLY BEING ADVERTISED FOR SALE. THIS IS DOCUMENTED WITH AN INVOICE.  THIS CAR WAS RECENTLY COMPLETELY SERVICED BY THE GENTLEMAN WE PURCHASED IT FROM SO WE DIDN’T HAVE TO SERVICE IT.  HOWEVER, WE DID COMPLETELY DETAILED IT.  WE’LL LET THE PHOTOS DO THE REST OF THE TALKING***

STORY:

THIS CAR WAS OWNED BY A GENTLEMAN WHO LIVED IN WASHINGTON.  IT WAS A RUST FREE CAR THAT UNDERWENT A COMPLETE BARE METAL RESTORATION IN 2010.  THE CAR WAS A CUSTOM BUILD WITH MANY UPGRADES.  THE CAR WAS DRIVEN 1,000 MILES SINCE THE RESTORATION WHICH INCLUDED MOSTLY CARS SHOWS AND SUCH.  THE CAR WON MULTIPLE CAR SHOWS INCLUDING THE AMERICAN THUNDER AWARD AT THE GOODGUYS PACIFIC NORTHWEST NATIONALS.  IN 2014 THE OWNER DECIDED TO SELL THE CAR AND MS CLASSIC CARS JUMPED ON THE OPPORTUNITY.

SHORTLY AFTER MS CLASSIC CARS LISTED THE CAR FOR SALE IT SOLD TO A GENTLEMAN LOCALLY WHO LIVES IN SEEKONK, MASSACHUSETTS.  HE IS AN EXPERIENCED DRAG RACER AND ALWAYS WANTED A 1967 CHEVROLET NOVA.  THIS CAR WAS SO SWEET HE HAD TO HAVE IT.  ALTHOUGH THE CAR WAS REALLY NICE HE WANTED TO COMPLETELY GO THROUGH THE CAR AND MAKE IMPROVEMENTS THROUGHOUT.  HIS GOAL WAS TO HAVE A SHOW QUALITY CAR WITH TONS OF POWER THAT HE COULD DRIVE ANYWHERE.  IT WAS IMPORTANT TO HAVE A CAR THAT WAS COMFORTABLE AND HANDLED WELL.  MANY CLASSIC VEHICLES ESPECIALLY THE ONES WITH A LOT OF POWER AREN’T USER FRIENDLY.  AFTER TWO YEARS, IN 2016 HE COMPLETED THE CAR AND ACCOMPLISHED HIS GOAL.  HE INVESTED OVER $50,000.00 WHICH DIDN’T EVEN INCLUDE HIS PERSONAL LABOR.  THIS CAR IS MEAN BUT USER FRIENDLY.  HE EVEN INSTALLED A BRAND NEW VINTAGE AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM THAT WORKS GREAT.  SINCE ALL OF HIS WORK HE DROVE THE CAR 600 MILES INCLUDING A 200 MILE TRIP TO NEW HAMPSHIRE.  IN SEPTMEBER OF 2017 HE FOUND AN ALTERED DRAGSTER THAT HE HAD TO HAVE.  TO PURCHASE IT THE NOVA HAD TO GO SO HE CALLED MS CLASSIC CARS TO PURCHASE THE CAR BACK.  MS CLASSIC CARS JUMPED ON THE OPPORTUNITY!

  • THE EXTERIOR OF THIS CAR IS SUPER SEXY WITH ITS STRAIGHT BODY, COLOR AND STANCE.
  • EXTREMELY STRAIGHT BODY WITH GREAT GAPS THROUGHOUT.  THE HOOD, DOORS AND TRUNK LID OPEN AND CLOSE VERY NICELY.
  • FIBERGLASS COWL HOOD.  THE UNDERSIDE OF HOOD IS FINISHED NICELY IN GLOSS BLACK.
  • THE CAR WAS PAINTED IN CORVETTE YELLOW WITH A TOUCH OF PEARL.  THE PAINT IS SHOW QUALITY AND ATTRACTS STARES LIKE A MAGNET.  THERE ARE NO EMBLEMS OR BADGES ANYWHERE WHICH MAKES FOR VERY SIMPLE AND CLEAN LOOK.
  • NEW LIGHTLY TINTED GLASS.  ALL THE WINDOW TRIM FITS GREAT AND WAS POLISHED THROUGHOUT.
  • THE ORIGINAL BUMPERS WERE RE-PLATED BY ART BRASS IN SEATTLE, WASHINGTON.
  • EVERYTHING ON THE EXTERIOR WAS RESTORED OR REPLACED SUCH AS THE WIPERS, DOOR HANDLES, GRILL, LIGHTS, ETC. 
  • ONE KEY OPERATES THE DOOR LOCKS, TRUNK LOCK, GLOVE BOX AND IGITION.
  • MODERN STYLE HEADLIGHTS.
  • A POWER CUT OFF AND ON SWITCH LEVER WAS MODIFIED INTO THE PASSENGER REAR TAILLIGHT ASSEMBLY.
  • CUSTOM BILLET SPEICALTIES POLISHED WHEELS THAT ARE 18” ON THE FRONT AND 20” ON THE REAR.  THE RIMS ARE WRAPPED WITH TOYO PROXES T1R TIRES THAT ARE 215-35-18 ON FRONT AND 275-30-20 ON THE REAR.  THESE WHEELS LOOK PERFECT ON THIS CAR AND GIVE IT A KILLER STANCE!

 

INTERIOR:

  • THIS BLACK INTERIOR PRESENTS ITSELF VERY NICELY.  IT’S VERY NOSTALGIC WITH A TOUCH OF MODERN FEATURES.
  • THE FRONT FIREWALL AND FLOOR SECTION WAS COVERED IN DYNAMAT TO KEEP THE HEAT AND ROAD NOISE TO A MINIMUM.
  • THE CABIN IS SUPPORTED WITH A NHRA ROLL CAGE WHICH SEPERATES FOR EASY ACCESS.  YOU CAN ALSO ACCESS THE REAR SEATING AREA EASILY.  THE ROLL CAGE WAS INCOPORATED VERY NICELY THROUGHOUT.
  • PAINLESS WIRING THROUGHOUT.
  • EVERYTHING IN THE INTERIOR WAS RESTORED OR REPLACED. SOME OF THESE ITEMS INCLUDE THE HEADLINER, VISORS, DASH, DOOR PANELS, CARPET, BUCKET SEATS, SEAT BELTS, HARWARE, ETC.
  • COVAN GAUGE CLUSTER WITH AUTOMETER PRO-COMP GAUGES. THE SPEEDOMETER HAS A THREE WIRE UNIT.
  •  FACTORY STYLE RPM GAUGE WAS ATTACHED TO THE DASH.  THIS IS VERY COOL WHEN YOU’RE SITTING IN THE CAR.
  •  FACTORY STYLE SS STEERING WHEEL WAS ADDED THAT MATCHES THE RPM GAUGE AND KEEPS THE ORIGINAL LOOK PRESENT.
  • BEHIND THE GLOVEBOX DOOR ARE HOME TO THE MSD IGITION BOX, EFI PROGRAMMER AND CUSTOM SWITCH BOARD.  THE CUSTOM SWITCHES ARE FOR #1 AND #2 FUEL PUMP, MSD ON/OFF, FAN AUTO/ON AND STARTER RETARD ON/OFF.
  • CHOME IDIDIT TILT STEERING COLUMN.
  •  VINTAGE AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM WAS INSTALLED.  IT WORKS GREAT!
  • B&M FLOOR MOUNTED SHIFTER WITH LINE LOCK.
  • CUSTOM REAR TRAY IN BACK OF SEATS THAT WRAPS AROUND THE ROLL CAGE.
  • CUSTOM BLACK CARPETED FLOOR MATS WITH YELLOW NOVA SS LOGOS.
  • THE TRUNK COMPARTMENT WAS PAINTED WITH FLAT BLACK PAINT.  THE TRUNK IS HOME TO THE BEAUTIFUL POLISHED ALUMINUM FUEL CELL WITH BILLET CAP.  ALL OF THE HARDWARE FOR THIS FUEL CELL IS TOP OF THE LINE.  IT HAS THE AEROMOTIVE DUAL PHANTON FUEL PUMP MODULE.  IT ALSO HAS A POLISHED ALUMINUM BATTERY BOX FOR THE OPTIMA RED TOP BATTERY.  THE TOP IS EASILY REMOVED FOR ACCESS TO THE BATTERY.

 

ENGINE COMPARTMENT:

  • THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT IS NICELY DETAILED WITH MANY UPGRADES.  THE ENGINE IS AWESOME!
  • THE FIREWALL, INNER FENDERS AND RADIATOR SUPPORT ARE PAINTED HIGH GLOSS BLACK.
  • EVERYTHING IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT HAS BEEN RESTORED OR REPLACED SUCH AS THE HINGES, WIRING, BRAIDED HOSES, STAINLESS STEEL LINES, NUT AND BOLTS, ETC.
  • BILLET SHOCK TOWER BRACES.
  • HOWE ALUMINUM RADIATOR WITH ELECTRIC FAN AND ALUMINUM OVERFILL CANISTER.
  • WILWOOD 7/8 POLISHED MASTER CYLINDER WITH ADJUSTABKE PROPORTIONING VALVE.

  • THE HEART OF THIS CAR IS A DART 434 EFI V8 ENGINE BUILT BY WELL-KNOWN NAT CHIAVETTONE.  NAT CHIAVETTONE IS ONE OF THE BEST ENGINE BUILDERS ON THE EAST COAST.  IT WAS DYNO TEST AT 613HP / 495 FT. LBS.  MULTIPLE DYNO SHEETS ARE INCLUDED AND PICTURED BELOW.

  • FLOWMASTER 3” EXHAUST SYSTEM WITH LARGER MUFFLERS TO REDUCE THE NOISE INSIDE THE CABIN. THIS CAR SOUNDS PERFECT.  IT’S NOT TO LOUD BUT LOUD ENOUGH.
