Vehicle Description
Stk 2350 1960 GMC 1500
This 1960 GMC 1500 pick-up is a hot rod in every traditional sense.
The mechanical upgrades were well thought-out maximum performance
enhancements - drivetrain, frame and suspension - all carefully
matched. The result is a very unique GMC pick-up. The all-steel
body and bed were painted Corvette 'Blew-My-Mind-Blue' in 2016. The
step-side bed was neatly tubbed before a new wood deck was
installed. A custom interior is equipped with a vinyl bench seat,
custom carpet, Pro-Comp tach, full gauge package, three-spoke
'Camaro' style wheel and Hurst Comp+ shifter. Horsepower is
provided by a 400ci Chevy small-block that was rebuilt in 2016. It
is blast-from-the-past power - equipped with a Weiand 6-71
rotor-style supercharger, two dual-feed Holley carburetors, custom
'shorty' headers and side-exit exhaust. The owner estimates output
to be in the range of 750bhp. The transmission is a 5-speed manual
gearbox that is backed by a 9-inch Ford differential with 4.11:1
gearing. The custom frame has been heavily tied and flex is not an
issue. Power-assist front discs/rear drums (w/dual master) provide
stopping power. Cragar wheels and Mickey Thompson rubber complete
the package. This GMC 1500 was built to run. Why not become the new
owner and enjoy the ride? ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS IS".Detailed
