The lightest of the C6 Corvettes every produced; the Z06 was introduced in 2006 as a result of enthusiasts demanding more horsepower and greater performance. To meet this demand; Chevrolet produced the Z06 with the largest-displacement small-block V8 they had ever produced. The Z06 was graced with a 7.0L 427 cubic inch V8 that pushed 505hp.
