From 1948-1950; Willys-Overland produced the Jeepster in an effort
to move away from simply utilitarian vehicles and offer a
fully-capable vehicle that wold appeal to the passenger automobile
market. Providing several standard high-level features that were
options in competing models; Willys hoped to capture consumers
attention a utilitarian vehicle that had a greater luxury feel.
Though the Jeepster was well regarded by those who owned them;
little advertising and a limited dealer network led to the vehicle
being phased out after the 1950 model year.
Completing a recent rotisserie restoration; with under 400 miles
driven since completed; this is unquestionably one of the finest
examples of a Willys Overland Jeepster available today. The
restoration included all new glass; new wiring; interior; top; boot
and carpet. With the correct L134 ('Go Devil') motor and 3-speed
transmission with overdrive; this Jeepster drive fantastically.
Dressed in a turquoise exterior with black interior; this is a
