Vehicle Description
Stk. 2134 1957 Chevrolet Windowed Delivery
There are a lot of '57 Chevys out there - most are BelAirs, others
210s. When was the last time you saw a '57 150 Windowed Delivery
wagon? This is one of the rarest factory-built Chevys ever produced
All told, we believe the factory built less than 100 of these
special order vehicles for the military, the Park Service and
private telephone companies. This 150 has been professionally
restored back to its 'Park Service' configuration. The owner has
complete documentation/photos of the frame-off restoration. The
body preparation was superb, followed by a back-to-original finish
coat of Army Green (2016). The new Cobblestone/Black cloth and
vinyl interior maintains perfect factory appearance - look at the
OEM steering wheel. For a bit of luxury, there is an AM/FM stereo
and tinted windows. Under the hood is a rebuilt 283ci motor. It is
not the original engine, but it is a '57 block with '57 PowerPack
heads and 4V intake. The little small-block sounds pure through ram
horn manifolds and a free-flowing exhaust. Power is delivered by a
Muncie 4-speed transmission (w/Hurst shifter) to a rebuilt factory
3.08 rear end. All electrics are now driven by an alternator
system. Note the pictures of the undercarriage - it is spotless.
Every aspect of the suspension is better than new, with power
steering and the upgraded dual-master cylinder braking system.
Chevy Rally Wheels mount BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires. Without
question, this is the finest performance '57 Window Delivery
restoration you will ever find. It will be an outstanding addition
to someone's tri-five collection. Call 800.650.1055, or visit
