Vehicle Description
Heavy on looks, light on price! That was the slogan for the Heavy
Chevy when introduced in 1971. This ONE OWNER car comes with the
Protect-O-Plate and many more original documents. 6,727 were
actually produced in 1971 although you don't hear about or see many
of these around. These Chevelle's were designed as a performance
car at an economical price. They were absent a lot of frills and
options, much like the Road Runner was for Mopar. This car is still
powered by the original, matching numbers drive train, 350ci, 4
barrel (L48, 270hp) mated to a TH350, 3 speed auto. It's finished
in the correct and original color of Ascot Blue with Blue bench and
vinyl floor. Bucket seats were not an option for these specific
Chevelle's. The Heavy Chevy truly is a V8 Chevelle with a graphics
package, domed hood with hoodpins and a blacked out front end. This
car is a blast from the past but runs and drives like new. I
personally have not seen a nicer Heavy Chevy, with such great
documentation, one owner and originality. Do not miss this
opportunity! Heater/Defroster
