1997 Porsche 911 C2S

First sold by Bill Jacobs Motorsport Inc. on July 18th, 1997. This
C2S was ordered through the
Porsche Exclusive-Programme, adding some special touches to this
already special variant of
the 993. This 911 also has its original maintenance booklet with
service stamps dating back to
1997 with a service at least once every two years, and with recent
maintenance history
paperwork.
When the car arrived at Canepa we treated the C2S to an extensive
concours level detail;
cleaning and detailing the 993 from the bottom up, inside and out,
until it looked as if it just
rolled off the assembly line in Stuttgart. It also received a full
mechanical inspection just in case
the next owner is inspired to put some miles on this time capsule
car.
Nothing looks more stunning than black on black on a 993,
especially the 356-inspired rear engine grille that is exclusive to
C2Ss. This special 993 C2S comes with its original books, jack,
tools, compressor and original window sticker. Whether to be kept
as a future collectable, or to be enjoyed as a daily driver the C2S
is ready for the road.

About the 993 C2S:
The Porsche 911 series 993 were built from 1995 thru 1998, and are
the last of the air-cooled
911's. The Carrera S (C2S) built only from 1997 thru 1998 is the
most highly sought after version
of the Porsche 993. With the Turbo factory wide body and the
Carrera's normally aspirated
engine the C2S was a pure sports car without the complication and
weight of turbocharging and
all-wheel drive. The driving experience is second to none, with
great torque, lighter weight, and
Turbo handling lending itself to amazing drivability. Only 759 C2Ss
were sold in the US in 1997
making this a very rare late model Porsche.
