luxury cars. The name itself, De Ville, "of the town" implied the
car was designed as a town car for prominent people. 1985 marked
generation 6 for the Cadillac DeVille. The Coupe Deville was
switched to GM's new front wheel drive "c-body" platform and was
marketed as "The Cadillac of Tomorrow."
