car. But it is a 50 year old car so who knows? When he bought it in
1982 it had 24,000 miles on it. The owner drove this Mustang in the
stock form for a number of years before making it his hot rod. This
very desirable Hot Rod Fastback is the one that you have been
looking for. It has been lowered a bit and has a great rake that
gives it "The Look". It is equipped with a Ford 302 crate motor
that has been modified with a nice healthy hydraulic camshaft,
roller rockers and guide plates. The heads have been ported and
have been fitted with oversize stainless valves. It has a Shelby
aluminum intake and 650 cfm Holley carburetor. This car runs really
strong and will light up the rear tires when the "need" arises.
Exhaust is provided by headers and a 2 1/4" exhaust system with
Magnaflow mufflers. This baby sounds great. The 8" Ford rear end is
equipped with 3:55 gears and a Detroit Locker posi to provide great
acceleration and reasonable rpm's on the highway. The C4 automatic
transmission has a firm shift kit and a higher stall converter.
There are 15" Mustang GT wheels with new tires. Everything on this
car has been addressed. Complete new interior including door
panels, dash pad and headliner. All of the weatherstripping has
been repalaced as well as all suspension components. All of the
trim and bumpers have been restored, replaced or rechromed. The
rust free body has been stripped down to bare metal and repainted
in Viper Red. This Mustang is a great driving car and is very
reliable. You can get in it and drive to a show in California and
have absolutely no problems. Or you can use it as a comfortable
everyday driver with the AC blowing on you. The is a VERY NICE high
