1970 Ford Mustang BOSS 302 For Sale- Factory Grabber Green,
Complete Rotisserie Restoration LMC is very proud to offer for sale
this 1970 Ford BOSS 302 The pony car rivalry had begun in 1967 with
the introduction of the Chevrolet Camaro by General Motors. The
Camaro gave Ford its first real competition since introduction of
the Mustang in 1964. However, revenge was sweet with the 1970 Ford
Mustang Boss 302. The name was inspired by Ford stylist Larry
Shinoda, who had a nickname among Ford employees of "Boss" and 302
was the motor to power this legendary mustang. Under the hood,
the Boss's high-output 302 V-8 was said to produce 290 horsepower
at 4600 rpm, actual output was estimated to be far higher. Mated
to the motor is the optional wide ratio 4 speed manual. Ford
spared no expense to ensure this would be a Trans-Am-worthy
powerplant, installing new "dry-deck" Cleveland-style heads with
2.33-inch intake valves and no head gaskets, solid lifters, an
aluminum high-riser manifold, super-high-flow Holley four-barrel
carburetor, high-capacity dual-point ignition, four-bolt
central-main-bearing caps, cross-drilled forged crankshaft, and
special pistons Sold new on March 26th of 1970 at Lewis County
Motor Company in Canton, Missouri, this 1970 BOSS 302 Mustang has
been a special car since day one. Factory finished in the colors
just as you see it today in the highly desirable Grabber Green with
very rare white interior. This car is nicely optioned with Rear
Spoiler, F60x15 Belted Goodyear Polyglass Tires, Power Brakes,
Power Steering, Chin Spoiler, Smog Equipment, Magnum 500 Wheels,

benefited from a full complete nut and bolt rotisserie restoration
by a marque specialist who recreated such factory details such as;
inspection markings, paint dabs, batch primer undercarriage with
body color overspray and blacked out pinch welds. Close inspection
reveals that it has a numbers matching BOSS 302 engine under the
shaker hood and close ratio Top Loader 4 speed putting power back
to the factory 3.50 gears. The Ford BOSS Mustangs are among the
great muscle cars of the day, this car checks off all the boxes of
