The MGB GT's innovative hatchback design by Pininfarina gave the
MGB a fresh look and filled a void with closed sports car
enthusiasts. The GT's design and performance have made them a
favorite among English and grand touring car enthusiasts alike and
for these reasons, The MGB/GT will always remain popular and an
excellent entry level automotive investment. The long line of MG's
is impressive with the variations and life cycle over the years.
The very cool thing about this car is that in 1970, it was the only
year that MG offered the GT with the rear split chrome bumper -
couple that with the factory overdrive and you are looking at a
very rare MGB GT.
If the color didn't close the deal then once you hear the 1800cc
4cyl with a Weber Carb come to life will do the trick. This car has
spent its entire life up until recently in California and was cared
for nicely and recently received some very nice attention to the
vehicle. Vehicle comes with new carpet kit, new wire chrome wheels,
new door panels, seat covers, seatbelts and trim work. The chrome
is in outstanding condition and the vehicle comes alive quickly and
is ready for any adventure you may take it on. The car engages into
all 4 gears with ease and the factory OVERDRIVE is a nice bonus.
According to previous owner the car was serviced in July of 2017
with all new fluids and tune up.
Vehicle comes with a nice story in the service booklet where a lot
of the service and fuel documentation was done by the previous
owner. The unique and rare color is very sharp and stands out from
the ordinary cars on the market. The MGB GT market is very strong
and the upside is going to be very impressive for those that get in
early. Take advantage of this California sweetheart and drive a fun
vehicle. Comes with jack, spare and wire wheel tool as well as
service book and owner's manual.
