1966 Porsche 912 Coupe
An early 3 gauge 912 that was purchased new in the California Bay
Area and was driven by the original owner for 14 years, then put
into storage in 1980. The original owner passed, then the 912 went
to her daughter and was sold in April 2015.
The following work has been done after this 912 was off the road
for 37 years: cleaning of the fuel system, refresh of the disc
brakes, repaint in Irish Green (6606), documented engine rebuild of
the 1600cc to stock specifications, the original Solex carburetors
were rebuilt & tuned, with a new clutch installed and it has a
5-speed manual transmission.
The interior is brand new with correct German charcoal square weave
carpets, and the front & rear seats have been done in the correct
vinyl!
All lights, blinkers, wipers, gauges, and electrical systems
function properly. The factory Blaupunkt AM/FM radio with a single
dash speaker. Factory chrome wheels with Vredestein Sprint Classics
tires.
Complete with spare tire, jack, miscellaneous tools, owner's
manual, documents include early registration cards, gas receipts,
and notes to the original owner's mechanic.
