I've owned and driven this beautiful 1964, Series 1, XKE roadster since 1980. It has a strong motor, is a thrill to drive and has no rust. It has 372 miles since a number of upgrades: new fuel pump, new alternator (no Lucas parts) a later model 4 speed fully synchro transmission (very smooth), new aluminum radiator with electric fan (runs cool), MSD (6AL) ignition, chrome headers, and Dayton stainless steel wire wheels with Michelin tires.
The only work it needs is a new top and the tachometer repaired.
