Vehicle Description
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1983 Jeep CJ-7 for
purchase. Starting with the affinity WWII military veterans had for
Jeeps while serving, Willys-Overland created a civilian version and
started selling them in 1944. The Jeep brand would eventually
become synonymous with go-anywhere vehicles built for having fun
creating your own path without any care for what terrain is
actually underneath. Jeeps are fun to drive as is, and many choose
really cool modifications to enhance the experience.
This CJ-7 has been repainted at some point over the years and
presents well. The underside of the tub was also painted. New body
mount bushings were also installed. The Jeep has new stainless fuel
lines and brake lines. The CJ has been slightly lifted and has 1
inch shackles in the front and rear. All needed parts for the
slight lift were ordered through Quadratec. There is a stack of
receipts from small maintenance work that was done to the Jeep over
the years. The Jeep is powered by its 6 cylinder engine that runs
strong, paired to a T-176 manual transmission. According to the
owner the engine has been overhauled and there are only 200 miles
on the engine. The Jeep rides on 15 inch Mickey Thompson wheels
with Mickey Thompson Deegan tires. The Jeep also has a roll bar,
sunroof, chrome front and rear bumpers. It is a lot of fun to drive
and has great style! Make your own path! Please call or email for
more details.
