Vehicle Description

Purist's-dream: ~Awesome rare exhilarating 1983 Trihawk -304 sportscycle -2.pass.(side-by-side) roadster is Calif./DMV-licensed as a motorcycle, and has a rigid steel-frame w/Rollbar and wide-stance stability (-so no helmet required by Cal.-DMV), --nor is any smoging ever required; --but with only 96-made, production was unfortunately aborted after acquisition was completed by Harley-Davidson Corp. in 1985. Renown for its terrific competition roadability on par with Corvette and Porsche (-recorded 1+'G' on R&T's-Skidpad, -and the R&P-steering feels like a Formula-1 racer!), the Trihawk employs a Citroen FWD 1.3L/1300cc OHC/4cyl.-aircooled engine w/5-spd.Transaxle (-same as early Lotus Esprit), and front/disk-brakes (-no Pwr.-anything as weighs only 1,360-Lbs., 70% in-fnt.); -and is only Trihawk known to have the convenience of a 'safety-approved' Steering-wheel that instantly-detaches for ease of ingress/egress (-and to 'carry-with-you' to prevent vehicle-theft)!  This specimen is essentially a roadster, -(but most Trihawks were offered with a Rag-top(canvas) snap-on erected over the included 'plug-in' stainless/Top-bar; -and could be fully-enclosed via optional Side-curtains).  Is in Xlnt.-condition, only 13,600-miles, -has original/silver-finish, -always garaged, and Calif./DMV- registration is current!   Also believed be the only Trihawk made with a nifty front/'Hinge-open' Eng.-cover to 45-degree angle, --which Eng.-cover also readily detaches cleverly via tool'less Quck-release means when desired (-great convenience feature, especially for showing;  --they should have made'em all like this!).
