Vehicle Description
Did you miss our opportunity at a 2007 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500
Super Snake? Want another chance? This low-mileage rocket remains
exceptionally fresh in every way - from the electric blue paint, to
the factory decals on the supercharged V8. So driving this 700+ hp
juggernaut out of our showroom will feel just like driving away
from Ford on day one.
The Super Snake is a true professionally built muscle machine.
Those with a deep passion for a blue oval, and even deeper pockets,
could have a new GT500 transformed into one of the most powerful
and highly sought-after Mustangs to ever hit the streets. The
custom upgrades to the exterior made sure everyone knows this was
the king above the King of the Road models. It has a special
fiberglass Super Snake hood that looks like it can swallow its
victims whole. There's a new front fascia with deeper ducts and a
larger bodykit - now made of carbon fiber. Side ducts cover the
rear windows to pay homage to the original GT500. This airflow
package is completed in the rear with a spoiler on top, and a
functional splitter down low with the dual exhaust. If you're a
lover of brightwork, then you still get it on this one. But, it
remains functional on features like the hood pins and an exclusive
set of Alcoa 20-inch forged alloy wheels. But your favorite
aggressive touch is probably the silver racing stripes against the
cobalt-like Vista Blue. This factory paint still looks terrific,
including at the front where a clear protective film has fought
away any pebbles this one might have come across in its low 17,232
mileage.
The upgrades found their way into the interior, too. The deeply
sculpted black leather GT500 seats now wear "Super Snake"
embroidery on the headrests. The same goes for the center console
and the special floor mats that include Carroll Shelby's signature.
You pay a hefty premium for the GT500, so you got premium features
such as air conditioning, power windows, power locks, power
driver's, cruise control, tilt wheel, dual airbags, and a Shaker
500 AM/FM/CD stereo system that's loud enough to rival the monster
motor. You know this is a special Super Snake, not only because of
the individually numbered plaque on the dash, but also because of
the Ford Performance shifter below it and the new full gauge
package above it.
As much as we all love the interior and exterior upgrades, it's
what's under the hood that keeps us all salivating. The DOHC
5.4-liter V8 was upgraded even more and given the special Kenne
Bell supercharger. The car was advertised at more than 700
horsepower, and some suspect the true figure is well north of that.
This symphony of power is played through a sweet-sounding Borla
exhaust system. And you get full control of this monster motor and
its thunderous soundtrack thanks to the six-speed manual
transmission. In fact, speaking of control, the suspension was
upgraded to a full Ford Racing package. There's also Baer
six-piston calipers with vented disc brakes at every corner, and
it's backed up by super sticky Pirelli P-Zero tires.
This is a mean beast engineered by the best to handle its power
wisely. While the ultra low mileage already tells you this has
always been looked after like an instant classic, the essential
documentation file will also help you keep this Shelby at
investment grade. So if you missed the opportunity at a Super Snake
a decade ago, rarely do you get a second chance like this. Don't
miss out, call today!
