This is a Rare Barn Find! 1929 was the first year for Plymouth (Chrysler Plymouth in 1928). A few months later…the great depression. Checking with the Plymouth Club, there are less than five 1929 Roadsters, and no one has seen a 1929 Sedan for sale. (If you know of one, please let us know! ) This car is line with the Plymouth judging guide.
This is an all original car with matching numbers motor. Original paint, original wheels, original interior. It runs great. Recent brake job included rebuilt wheel cylinders and relined brake shoes. There are no cracks or chips in the glass. Surface rust under the car, but it’s all solid and shows that it was well kept out of the weather. Fuel gauge on fuel tank has been rebuilt.
Exterior: Car is solid with no rust showing on doors, body or fenders. No dents or dings in the body. There is rust under the radiator as shown. Left headlight has a ding on top. High beam is out on one headlight. Roof material has no cracks or tears.
Interior: Original interior featuring window covering for the rear and left side windows. The ignition switch is not original. The driver side window crank is broken off, but the part is included.
Motor: Original motor runs great. Radiator has a leak.
