This is a 1933 Dodge 5-Window Coupe all steel body street rod. It is the culmination of a fifteen year build that started with a an original steel body, a custom frame, to which was added a '71 heavy wall block 440 V8 bored .40 over to give 472 cubic inches. The power goes through a '73 Mopar 727 automatic transmission and a '66 3.23 Sure Grip rear end. Performance items also include dual 500 Webber carburators, Sanderson headers, Edelbrock air gap intake, Pertronix distributor, Taylor wires and a Walker radiator. It also features an electric fuel pump, electric cooling fan, a custom aluminum fuel tank and a barrel cooler for the the transmission.
In addition it has a Corvette master cylinder, a brake bias under the driver's seat, Vega steering box and easy access battery terminals located on the undercarriage. The wheels are Centerlines, 14" x 6" front and 15" x 8" rear. It has a '34 Ford front spreader bar, early Barracuda steering column, Stewart Warner gauges, 3 power windows, a fire extinguisher and a Grant steering wheel. There is also a "Jumping Ram" hood ornament made of bronze and then chrome plated.
The color is a two-stage paint "Passionate Purple". There also are binders with literature and receipts for almost everything added to the car and an extensive pictorial history of the evolution of this fabulous machine. You won't be disappointed.
