Vehicle Description
Originally designed to be an off road vehicle to compete with the
Jeep CJ and International Harvester Scout, the Bronco was Ford's
first compact SUV. Introduced in 1966 and offered with a wide range
of engines, the Bronco was an instant success. For over 30 years,
the Bronco was a staple of Ford's truck lineup.
This well documented and historically original Bronco is a true
time capsule. Yes, it has had a few modifications to enhance the
drivability and reliability, but all original body panels, engine,
transmission, hard top, seats, and gauges. The car was sold new out
of Los Angeles, California in August of 1975. Vehicle remained in
the sunny state for most of its life until recently where it was
acquired by our customer and was treated to some very nice and
tasteful upgrades. Vehicle has been given; a 2.5in James Duff lift,
front end rebuilt with new balljoints, tie rods, drop trac bracket,
drop pitman arm, front and rear sway bars, new steering column,
wood steering wheel, Wild Horses drive shaft, brake lines, new door
seals, new plugs, wires and cap, new thermostat and much more.
Vehicle has had the gas tanks sealed and both are working and gas
gauge functions properly. Rebuilt top end of engine was done with
new camshaft and restored air cleaner. Factory stereo was replaced
with a Retro fit AM/FM stereo with USB and iPod hookup.
Miles are accurate according to previous owner and the vehicle is a
true blast to enjoy. Many of these older Broncos have been restored
and rebuilt, but still drive terrible...this one has the original
looks, but drives amazing with highway speeds very achievable and
you do not have to fight the steering wheel the entire time.
Vehicle comes with a Marti Report, service records, some extra
parts and an almost new soft top. When new it was equipped with the
Ranger Package, skid plates, California emissions, power steering,
reduced noise exhaust system, manual AM radio, heavy duty
alternator, extra cooling radiator, and aux fuel tank.
