GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1956 Studebaker Transtar
Deluxe Pickup for your consideration. Based out of South Bend
Indiana, Studebaker produced the Transtar from 1956-1958 and
1960-1963. In 1956 there were 20218 2E models produced. This
beautiful example features its 224-2barrel Commander v8 with a 3
speed manual transmission. The Truck is wired in a 12 volt system.
This truck features a deluxe cab, allowing more room. The steel bed
and fenders are in excellent condition.
Features include full wheel covers, heater/defroster, LH mirror,
chrome bumpers front and rear, wood side racks for the bed, chrome
side window visors, whitewall tires and more. This truck runs and
handles as it should and holds to the road nicely. The interior is
clean and presents well. The blue vinyl seat shows no sign of wear.
Studebaker did not produce very many trucks and it is hard to find
one as nice as this one.
