For sale in our Dallas showroom is an original 1987 Chevrolet K5
Blazer. This awesome 4x4 just rolled in to our showroom and is
ready for you to take it out and have fun! The K5 Blazer was first
introduced in 1969 as Chevrolet's answer to the Ford Bronco. From
1969 to 1975 they came complete with a fully removable hard top
from the windshield back. In 1976 Chevrolet opted to add a little
more safety and rigidity to these off road machines by making the
hard top come off just behind the front seat. It also made the
Blazer look more like a custom short bed pickup when you took off
the top. This 1987 K5 Blazer may be one of the last 5 years that
Chevrolet had a convertible Blazer, but it was also the first year
that Chevrolet made the Throttle Body injection 350 a standard
power plant. This truck has recently had a new rebuilt 700R4
automatic overdrive transmission added to it for you to enjoy
cruising down the highway with your top off. And if it is too hot
out for you to have your top off then crank up the ice cold air
conditioning. This factory original truck is set up to enjoy just
as it sits, but if you have been on the hunt for that off road
machine that you get to customize yourself, then you have found it
here in our Dallas location. To see 100+ HD pictures and videos of
