For sale here is a 1958 Rambler American 2-Door Sedan. The odometer on this vehicle reads 85,916. First purchased out of a museum in Washington State, the car is now garaged in Lompoc, California north of Santa Barbara. Power comes by a flat six engine which is matched to a 3-speed Borg Warner transmission and the optional Borg Warner overdrive. The owner claims that this car is a superb driver and gets unbelievably high miles-per-gallon (35 mpg). This is a small midsize car with plenty of room for driver and passengers. Exterior paint and the interior upholstery remain in very satisfactory condition. The car also comes with a working Radio installed. Production of the 1958 Two Door Sedan was 30,640 units.
