A super rare original 1970 Land Rover 88 Series 2A Convertible
DEISEL matching numbers in excellent condition. Series 2A is the
iconic '60 model that appeared frequently in T.V. series and films-
it is regarded by many as the most collectible of the early Land
rovers being visually similar to the original 1947 model yet with
added rigidity and tech advancements developed through the decades.
This Series 2A was manufactured by Rover Co.LTD in February 1970 at
the Solihull Factory England and shipped to be assembled in Cota
Rica where it was Kept indoors in original condition unused for
decades till it's recent rediscovery. It's rebuilt to an
outstanding condition. Matching numbers original diesel engine and
aluminum body were rebuilt to excellence by specialists. All usable
original parts were reused preserving this Land Rover's priceless
antique patina.
