restoration completed approximately 5 years ago. In place of the
stock 4.2 liter inline 6 cylinder engine is a properly engineered
GM 350 V8, Automatic transmission, 4 wheel drive with power
steering and power brakes. Other features include Integrated roll
cage, custom bucket seats, B&M shifter, Edelbrock carb,
Edelbrock aluminum air cleaner, Edelbrock open element air cleaner,
GM tilt steering column, new soft top, VDO gauges, custom powder
coated wheels, etc. Cosmetically, this FJ40 has held up very
nicely, the classic Dune Beige exterior paint shows excellent in
all areas, the fame and chassis remain nicely painted and all trim
and accents remain in very good condition.
Toyota's FJ40 remains one of the hottest vintage SUV's on the
market, continue to be globally sought after and values are staying
