Stk 2343 1989 Chevrolet Corvette
The C4 Corvette, released in 1984, was an innovation. It
represented a clean break from the previous generation C3 Corvette
with a completely new chassis and modern, sleeker styling. The
primary performance emphasis was on handling and braking. Our 1989
C4 Corvette exemplifies that performance and styling. The Bright
Red exterior has been extremely well cared for and is in very good
condition as is the Targa removable roof panel. Headlight bulbs
have been replaced with halogen units. The rare red leather
interior is stunning. Features include: air conditioning (new),
power locks, power tinted windows, power driver seat, tilt wheel,
cruise and a Sony AM/FM/CD stereo system. A rear-view safety camera
has also been installed. The C4 is powered by an L-98/350ci motor
that has never been rebuilt. The owner has replaced the starter
motor. With aluminum heads and Tuned-Port Fuel Injection, it
produces 245bhp and 340 lb/ft torque. The 350 is backed by GM's
4-speed 700R4 Turbo Hydra-matic gearbox. The Corvette is equipped
with power steering and 4-wheel ABS power disc brakes w/11.5"
rotors. Handling is enhanced by the factory independent suspension.
The front suspension on the C4 saw the earlier C3 coil springs
replaced by a transverse fiberglass monoshock spring. The rear
suspension uses a similar design. Factory 17 x 9.5 in. polished
alloy wheels mount nice Nexen radials. This is a very nice stock C4
