For Sale at Auction: 1969 Shelby GT500 in Las Vegas, Nevada

Vehicle Description

Paperwork that comes with the car includes a clear title, original owner's manual, Deluxe Marti Report, the original factory order sheet and the original Ford to Shelby to dealer invoice. An all-original matching-numbers car, it features the original 428ci engine, original automatic transmission and original rear end. Based on the Marti report this car was ordered very well equipped for a 1969 GT500 Ford Shelby Mustang. The Shelby individual pink order sheet shows the first color the dealer ordered this car in was Special Race Orange with a second choice of Pastel Gray. Since Special Race Orange was not an available color, the car was built Pastel Gray, a very unusual and rare color. This car has had a full service done in the last 90 days including a complete comprehensive tune-up including coil, new plugs, drive belts, new wires, cap and rotor with Purtronics set up, oil change, timing set and battery. Installation of the original date-coded smog system, original matching-numbers carburetor rebuilt with new fuel lines, fuel pump and fittings. The original fuel system was serviced with all-new rubber hoses and mechanical fuel pump and the gas tank was replaced. The cooling system was flushed and serviced with new hoses. The original radiator was removed, sent out to be hot tanked, painted factory correct and reinstalled. The automatic transmission was fully serviced, the rear end was flushed and serviced, and the brake system was flushed and serviced as well. The original master cylinder was rebuilt and the air conditioning system was restored with a rebuilt heater box, new heater core and R12 Freon. The factory-correct dual-exhaust transverse muffler system was installed and the AM/FM radio was restored. The floor pans, frame rails, torque boxes, rear quarters, fiberglass are all original and in nice original shape. The original factory paint still shines and looks nice. Original down to the carpets, the original interior is in excellent condition. The car is listed in both the SAAC (Shelby American Automobile Club) International Registry and the Shelby American/Team Shelby factory databases.
