At Pedigree we are always searching for the finest examples of
affordable collector cars. When we first heard of this beautiful
Jaguar, we thought it could never be as good as its described.
Fortunately, we were wrong. This Jaguar is without question, the
finest of its kind. It is one of the last series 2 XJs produced and
it is one of the rarest. This long wheelbase 12 cylinder model is
the first we have ever seen of this generation and of this level of
quality. This is a two owner example that was sold to it second
owner when it was only two years old with 3700 miles on it. It has
lovingly been cared for by that same owner until recently. Records
indicate that the second owner drove the car sparingly but
maintained it well. This is a highly original example that is show
quality. It has been shown and scored 99 out of 100 points at a
Jaguar club event. The score sheet is included. Everything about
this Jaguar is impressive. There is no rust on it whatsoever. The
brown paint gleams and is free of any noticeable flaws. All of the
chrome and bright work have a perfect finish and are free of any
pitting or imperfections. The original wheels on the car are in
magnificent condition as are the wheel centers and really
complement the lines of this long wheelbase XJ12. Inside, the
leather has no dye on it and is just magnificent. It is still soft
and supple. There are no flaws or cracks on the dashboard or the
tops of any of the doors. The wood on the dash is beautiful and is
original and shows almost know wear. The carpet and headliner are
in the same condition and in sitting in this car, you feel like you
were back in 1979. The boot is equally as impressive and has a full
size spare tire on the original Jaguar wheel. Upon opening the
bonnet, the large, impressive, V 12 is sparklingly clean. It fires
up immediately with a twist of the key and has an ultra smooth
idol. Driving this Jaguar is as impressive as it looks. The
transmission shifts with smoothly, and the V 12 engine makes
seemingly endless power and torque. Everything works as it should,
just as you would expect from a car of this level of magnificence.
As with all of our Jaguars, the Jaguar Doctor of Boca Raton,
Florida, has thoroughly inspected and serviced this car. In getting
the car ready for sale we had performed: Oil and filter change
