This 1969 Series II Roadster is truly one of the best all around
XKE's we've ever owned. The low mileage car is completely
unmolested and is frequently used by our Team to validate
originality of our restoration projects. More importantly, she runs
exactly the way an XKE should . Let me explain: she starts right up
and never misses a beat. Power is smooth and strong. Shifts
effortlessly and the clutch is excellent. She runs very cool in the
hottest weather. Handles great and the stereo adds to the driving
pleasure. I frequently drive this car back and forth to work and
she's as reliable as a Honda (wll maybe not a Honda...). Again, a
true example of what an XKE should run, feel like. It checks the
right boxes for matching numbers, great paint quality, excellent
mechanical condition, factory AC and nice interior. Please note
that she is a Heritage Certificate matching numbers XKE in the
original color combination of Sable on Tan Leather. Striking. The
body is very solid with no signs of rust or corrosion and has great
gaps including the bonnet fit. The floors are perfect and have not
been damaged by improper jacking of the car or rust. It appears the
rear end has been rebuilt as well although we can verify the work
performed. The underside of the bonnet also looks like new with
zero rust and no damage. If you're looking for a really nice open
E-type at a reasonable cost, this could be your car. We'll be
adding more photos soon including the underside. If you have
questions or need more information, contact Mike Buchanan via email

looking.
