This Plymouth Fury has been upgraded a 413ci engine with twin
4-barrel inline carburetors with push-button automatic
transmission. With 27,962 original miles (mileage not indicated on
title), this car was judged and granted the Zenith Award in 2008 at
Bloomington Gold, which indicates a 90% of its factory new
originality. The paperwork reads, "This represents the high point
in automotive preservation." Finished in two-tone Redwood Rose, a
super rare combination from Chrysler, the vehicle specification as
follows: 8.75" 3.9:1 Sure Grip, 11" drum brakes on all four wheels,
factory radio delete and multi-leaf rear suspension. Family-owned
from new in 1962 through 1987, paperwork includes copies of all
titles from day one. In short, this example is a near time capsule.
Mostly unrestored condition with comprehensive paperwork, the paint
and interior look simply stunning as a survivor. Also included is a
copy of the factory Data Card from the Chrysler Historical Society.
The car will be supplied with all corresponding paperwork that has
been collected over the years, as well as all Zenith award
paperwork. This car really is a wolf in sheep's clothing,
delivering incredible performance despite its mundane appearance.
