Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is pleased to offer any fan of
an original car, or perhaps a Pontiac enthusiast, or maybe even
someone who's nostalgic for a certain car, this 1976 Pontiac
Sunbird. This car was part of Pontiac's line-up during the
country's Bi-centennial year. These Sunbirds were very popular
during the introductory year. They were very economical to drive
and most were driven until they died. Not this car! Bought by its
current owner from the original owner just a short time ago, this
sub-compact model from the General was well taken care of,
accumulating a mere 79,000 miles. That's about 1880 miles per year!
The car comes with much documentation, including some original
sales ads and literature. It's a car that generates smiles and
waves of nostalgia for anyone over 40 who sees it. We all remember
these cars; I had one, my aunt had one, my first girlfriend in high
school had one, etc. Is it perfect? No, but it's a survivor that
could use a bit of TLC. Everything it needs is cosmetic. The best
part about this car is the manual four speed transmission. It makes
the car really fun to drive. It's really a piece of automotive
history, especially since the original Sunbird was built from 1976
to 1980 and Pontiac has long been de-commissioned. It's a great
little car for a great little price. This car gets plenty of looks
at shows and even on the street. Don't miss this little cutie! To
