For Sale: 1968 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia in Houston, Texas

Vehicle Description

Up for sale now in our Houston Showroom is this 1968 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia. The Volkswagen Karmann Ghia is a sports car marketed in 2+2 coupe (1955-1974) and convertible (1957-1974) body styles by Volkswagen. The Karmann Ghia combined the chassis and mechanicals of the Type 1 (Beetle) with styling by Luigi Segre of the Italian carrozzeria Ghia and hand-built bodywork by the German coach-builder Karmann. This particular Karmann Ghia is very clean and shows very well. The engine in this VW is the original 4 cylinder 1600cc engine from the factory that has been recently rebuilt 3 years & 1500 miles ago. This has been paired to a manual 4-speed transmission that shifts very smoothly through the gears. The exterior of the car has been refinished with a new factory correct white paint, that shows that very smooth and dent free body. The interior of the car is very nice that features include new vinyl seats and door panels, a new CD player with AM/FM, new carpet, & the dash is in great condition. The car has only 69,494 original miles and is still running strong. All work on the car was done professionally & correctly. The car also features nice maintenance items such as new brake lines, shifter bearing on the transmission. This won't last long at this price so take it home before it's gone!
