Vehicle Description
For sale in our Detroit showroom is a menacing 1968 Chevrolet
Camaro SS Tribute. The second production year of the first
generation Camaro retained most of the details that were offered in
1967. The most noticeable changes to the 1968 were the elimination
of side vent windows and color and trim changes. This 1968 Camaro
however has many changes from what was offered in 1967. The 350
cubic inch small block V8 engine was replaced with a much more
powerful, professionally built, 402 cubic inch engine with only 602
miles logged, that has many upgrades like: Edelbrock intake,
Edelbrock carb, and Griffin aluminum radiator with twin electric
fans. The transmission is a 4-speed Muncie M21 transmission, backed
by a rebuilt 10 bolt posi rear end with 3:55 gears. The recent
restoration includes new: Front disc brake conversion, custom dual
exhaust that has an incredible street rod sound, new windshield and
side windows, new 15" x 7" wheels with new BF Goodrich street
radials, and many new exterior moulding pieces. The interior has
been much improved as well having new reclining bucket seats, new
complete Dakota dash, Pioneer stereo mounted inside the glove box,
new carpet, new custom center console, and new mats with imprinted
logo. This Camaro has a very throaty intimidating sound to it, and
shows even better! For more information on this 1968 Chevrolet
