Chevrolet for 1940 had interesting history; first year for use
plastic parts and first year for stainless steel trim. 6 cylinder
inline 85 HP with Helical 3 speed transmission. A very durable car;
a Coupe driven in the 6,000 mile "Gran Primo" averaged 55 mph and
came in first place, ahead of 2nd place by 1 hour. This beautiful
Sport Sedan has mirror finish black paint. All new chrome, new tan
mohair interior with radial whitewalls. All new glass, new exhaust,
seat belts, new seals and more. Don't see too many 1940 Chevrolets.
Recently tuned and ready for tour. Car of choice for US government
