Vehicle Description
We are pleased to present this original 1930 Chevrolet Universal
ton pickup. This mostly restored truck was used mostly for local
parades and to promote a local business. The white paint is not
original or correct, but it definitely makes this truck stand out
and command attention. It still has the in-line 6 cylinder 50 HP
valve in-head engine. The 3 speed manual transmission shifts
nicely. It has the 6-volt electrical systems with foot starter and
the engine will start with the hand crank if needed. Several
mechanical items were replaced or repaired in the last 10 years,
such as the radiator, wiring harness and alternator, bushings. The
transmission was rebuilt with new gears and bearings. The
differential was also rebuilt including new rear springs shackle
kit and new the rear brakes were re-built. The gauges were replaced
in 2006 (fuel, temp, oil pressure, speedometer) and all work. The
carburetor was recently rebuilt and new battery was installed. The
bed has the original hardware and the wood is in great condition.
Some work is still needed to complete the restoration such as
carpet, door seals and staining the oak in the bed. It runs and
operates safely. We can coordinate shipping to your location. If
