Hotchkis poly bushings all around with Hotchkis adjustable trailing arms with braces, Nascar heavy duty Edlebrock springs front and rear (1 ½ inches lower), 1 ¼ inch front sway bar – 1 inch rear, Hotchkis tubular upper a-arms for lots of positive castor for high speed driving (have originals), KYB shocks, MPB J-8 ’69 ‘vette racing 12 inch 4 piston front disc brakes, Wilwood 11 inch racing 4 piston disc rears, special 8 inch dual diaphram power booster with matching master cylinder and combination valve (have non-power master cylinder also), steel braided lines (stops unbelievable), , AGR quick ratio racing power steering box, Currie Fc. 9 inch (big bearing) rear end shortened 1 inch with shock mounts inset 1 inch 1 inch, 3:50 Eaton posi (extra 3:00 and 3:25 gears), custom front aluminum chin spoiler for high speed stability (removes very quickly). Tight, extremely stable, safe, great handling car. Ram air ducts from inboard headlamp holes (easily returned to stock) to air cleaner. Battery moved to passenger side trunk with a shut off there, best double 00 cable to front with additional junction and short cable to mini high torque started, trunk perfect with 5 heavy duty tie-down eyes incorporated for strapping tools, tires etc. Original 20 gallon gas tank redone. Dash like new, chrome glove, chrome ashtray, all instruments work, air and heat not hooked.
ENGINE: 500 plus horse power B&B “383” internally balanced 9.8 to 1 compression. ESP 4340 crank, 4 bolt splayed main caps, ESP steel h-beam rods, J&E pistons, Melling HV oil pump, 7 qt. Moroso oil pan, Dart Pro 1 200cc runner aluminum heads (76cc chamber) with port matched Dart single plane aluminum manifold. Comp Cams valve train: XR 294 Hydraulic roler, roller rockers (1.5int. and 1.6exh), springs, pushrods Manley 2.02 and 1.60 stainless valves. Built to run all day at 6 grand—only taken to 6 grand 8 times!!
MSD 6AL Ignition, MSD PRO Billet Distributor and matching coil with 8mm wires, 100 amp alternator. DEMON Road Race 750 double pump mechanical carburetor (tons of jets and extras), Holley (blue electric fuel pump and matching regulator with separate shutoff), 2 external filters. Moroso Aluminum valve covers, billet aluminum pulleys, Edelbrock aluminum water pump, Flex Fan, Aluminum Radiator, Jass Overflow Tank, BHJ Harmonic internal balancer. Hooker Super comp 13/4 headers, Dr. Gas X pipe (3” into 2 ½” crossover) to 2 ½” final to Flowmaster “40 series” mufflers. Poly engine and trans mounts. Have build sheet and dyno run sheets.
TRANS: Dark Horse prepared Tremec TKO 5 speed. McLeod dual disc metallic clutch (18 lbs. including flywheel).
Everything works on the car (except for non-hooked up air and heater). All street legal and registered. Car has always been babied and only been in a drizzle once—has 3000 miles on all—all synthetic fluids after break-in. Always garaged. I have every receipt and instruction sheet for all parts and the original service manual. This is a difficult car to drive in stop and go traffic due to the sensitive nature of the clutch set-up but on the open road it is an absolute kick ---I’ve had it to 150 mph easy. Durable and reliable with easily obtainable parts.
