SST Mark Donohue Tribute. The Javelin debuted in late 1967 for the
1968 model year as a small vehicle with a big heavy powerful engine
and was put at the top of the list in the sports-personal category
in the "Car of the Year" by Motor Trend. This Javelin is the
premium SST model and is in top condition having underwent a
complete restoration about 5 years ago. New to the car is the 304
motor, exhaust, bumpers, emblems, gas tank, new brakes, and a
completely rebuilt front end. This AMC Javelin has won multiple
trophies at local car shows including at the Woodward Dream Cruise
and is an Oakland Press trophy winner. This Javelin is a very
unique car with the beautiful red, white, and blue painted exterior
that draws attention anywhere that it travels. This AMC Javelin is
beautiful inside and out, it runs and drives great, and with the
recent restoration is ready to hit the road for many years to come.
