2008 Toyota Tundra TRD SUPERCHARGED in Concord, North Carolina
A cool looking truck that's a 1 of 1 built for SEMA, rescued by a
TV celebrity, and sold to a NASCAR racer. See, this 2008 Toyota
Tundra TRD was already cool before you checked out all the great
stuff like the supercharged V8 and custom matching trike.
The car companies build the best stuff for themselves... and
sometimes they keep it to themselves. The story goes that TV host
Rutledge Wood saw this former SEMA show truck under a under a cover
at Toyota's TRD (Toyota Racing Division) offices. He just has to
have it. Wood added the front fascia and short bed from a 2016 TRD
PRO four-door. This also has a Honey D wide body kit, 20-inch Fuel
wheels, General Grabber all-terrain tires, bed cover, and it's all
covered in a Lemon String Green protective wrap. And just for added
showmanship, there's a SFD Industries custom drift trike that
matches perfectly and mounts right on top of the bed. This
absolutely amazing build is the kind of thing Wood couldn't keep to
himself. That's why it eventually went to NASCAR racer Joey Logano.
That's a pretty amazing life for a vehicle that has traveled less
than 4,700 miles!
More of the custom work continues on the inside. With the dual
bucket seats and all that leather, this is more sports car than
pickup truck. And all the TRD panels enhance this sporty feeling.
It also comes loaded with the best features like air conditioning,
power windows, power locks, alarm system, dual airbags, ABS, and
cruise control. And we know you're going to love the unique
features like the plaque that recognizes this as #0001 and the TRD
Competition Mode button. Plus, the stereo has been upgraded a
Pioneer AM/FM/CD/XM with satellite navigation, Bluetooth, and iPod
input. This is your gateway to the full Kicker speaker system,
including thumpin' Kicker 10-inch subwoofer.
Under the hood might just be your favorite upgrade. The original
fuel-injected 5.7-liter V8 is already a powerful beast, but because
this is a TRD showcase car, it should be no surprise that this has
the added boost of the Magnuson supercharger out of their catalog.
Plus, people will hear this added muscle thanks to JBA headers and
a MagnaFlow dual exhaust. And more than just serious power, the
undercarriage photos will show you that this has the best upgrades
everywhere. It includes an Auburn limited slip rear end, thick TRD
sway bar, and a McGaughy's lowering kit with new Bilstein shocks
and SPC control arms. Stopping is well in-hand thanks to Wilwood
four-wheel disc brake system with oversized drilled rotors. And
more than just all these great upgrades, it's still a useful truck
at heart. That's why you have great factory features like power
steering, cruise control, and a six-speed automatic
transmission.
You already know how rare it is to find a single cab, short bed
Tundra. And this one has all the best features from all the best
people. And since this a 1 of 1 show truck, you know this is a
once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Call now!
