Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1929
Ford Woody Station Wagon. The 1929 Model A Woody Station wagon was
built in extremely low production numbers and was very expensive
when sold to the public. Most have decayed away to nothing while
others have been restored to better than new standards with the
price tag to prove it. This example is a well-built 29 Model A
Station Wagon that was built on a 112" wheel base. The body itself
consists of a Maple frame with Birch panels giving it a very
distinct look. The fenders, hood, grill, and cowl section are all
real steel parts. The two tone green paint finish the exterior
nicely and give the car a custom yet original look. The 15' Cragar
are the classic choice and really compliment the cars design. Under
the hood is where things are again modern yet old school. Yes, the
car has an inline 4 just like the old days but this inline 4 is OHC
design and a Nissan engine. It even has the 2 plugs per cylinder
design and gets the Woody up to speed quickly. The 5-speed
transmission has a hydraulic clutch that allows for smooth shifts
with the extra gear allowing for ample speeds even with the 4:10
gears. The stance on the woody was accomplished by 4" drop axles up
front and a set of adjustable coil overs on the rear. Open the door
and the custom interior is clean and comfortable. The power windows
are a nice touch and not something you thought you would see. If
you have been wanting a street rod that is different than the
mainstream yet still cool and iconic this 1929 Ford Woody is a
great mix of both. Options on this 1929 Ford Woody include; Cloth
Interior, Tilt Wheel, Power Windows, and Aluminum Wheels with
Radial tires. This gorgeous 1929 Ford Woody can be seen in greater
