Vehicle Description
In 1974, Airstream began manufacturing a class-A motorhome, badged
Argosy. These began as a painted aluminum 20' and 24' models. The
20' model is known as the "Bambi of Motorhomes." This motorhome has
an open kitchen that includes an updated stainless-steel stove,
sink, modern refrigerator and an enclosed bathroom with even a
compact shower in the back. During the restoration, the inside
material was upgraded including black leather seating, leather
walls and two modern-style leather captain's chairs for the front
passengers. It's powered by a 350ci 8-cylinder engine with 3-speed
automatic transmission.
