Vehicle Description
This rare 1957 Chevrolet 3100 short-bed step-side pickup features a
rare side-mounted spare tire and a solid oak bed floor with
stainless-steel bed strips. This truck has gone through a complete
rotisserie, nut-and-bolt restoration approximately eight years ago.
All of the fasteners were replaced with stainless steel wherever
possible. All of the body panels are laser-straight and the body
gaps are great. It's powered by a 235ci straight-6 engine and a
manual 3-speed transmission. Refinished with 1957 Chevy commercial
colors, Pure White and Cardinal Red, it's painted with base
coat/clear coat. Everything was color-sanded and rubbed out to a
show-quality finish. It features an all-new interior, carpet and
seat, new dash cluster and a rebuilt original GM AM tube radio with
a roof-mounted speaker. All of the chrome is excellent and all of
the glass has been replaced, including the windshield which is LOF
safety plate glass. It's also equipped with an all-new wiring
harness, T-3 headlights and trim, front turn signals, a new
battery, stainless-steel taillights, mounting brackets and tailgate
chains.
