This big-window step-side Chevy Apache features a high-quality frame-off build with '57 Chevy single-headlight front sheet metal. The entire build is documented with a photo album. The super-straight body is finished in '57 Chevy Matador Red with a beautiful oak bed. A Chevelle front suspension clip, tilt power steering, dual-stage master cylinder and power front disc brakes make this truck a great driver. The engine is a very strong 406ci small-block with aluminum heads, flat-top pistons, a 350hp 350 camshaft, three 2-barrel Holley carburetors, heads and a custom JBA exhaust system. Power is driven through a Turbo 350 automatic transmission. The undercarriage is fully detailed, and an aluminum fuel tank mounted under the bed replaces the cab unit.
