Vehicle Description
This C4 ZR1, #1,196 of 2,044 built for 1991, utilizes a Mercury
Marine-built, Lotus-designed 5.7-liter aluminum-block, quad cam,
32-valve engine good for at least 375hp. It had a well-deserved
nickname: "King of the Hill." A ZF 6-speed manual transmission,
in-cabin adjustable suspension, and anti-lock disc brakes upgrades
round out the ZR1 performance package, which was a $31,683 option
to the base 1991 C4 Corvette price. This accident-free ZR1 has less
than 11,000 actual miles and shines in its original Bright Red
factory paint with matching red leather sport-seat interior. ZR1s
came fully loaded with air, full-power options, digital and analog
combination gauge cluster, Bose AM/FM/CD player, selective
suspension, and the ZR1 specific Power Key feature. This ZR1 also
includes the optional glass removable roof panel to go along with
the solid color-matching roof panel. This ZR1 has been carefully
maintained by three previous owners documented in the maintenance
history that goes with the car. It is in excellent stock
configuration, only receiving replacement OEM parts as part of the
normal maintenance requirements. Recent work includes replacing of
all 16 fuel injectors and both valve cover gaskets. The Bose stereo
system has also been refurbished and works great, as do all of the
other vehicle's systems. Heavily documented, it will be conveyed
with the Build Sheet, Window Sticker, collector books, owner's
manuals, factory brochures, period advertising, maintenance records
and the car show display board. CARFAX shows manufacturer safety on
10/01/1991: safety belt retractors, left side and right side.
