Vehicle Description
This is an excellent example of the final year for the model, with
15,600 original miles. It's equipped with the final-year legendary
L98 engine, a 350ci 5.7-liter engine. A 4-speed automatic
transmission was the only transmission available for the L98
optional engine and, for this IROC, was configured with the
optional G80 limited-slip differential, G92 performance ratio rear
axle, oil cooler, 4-wheel disc brakes and 16" wheels. This
accident-free IROC-Z shines in its factory-correct bright white
paint with gray and yellow IROC Z/28 graphics. The black interior
is optioned with factory-ordered, custom black-and-white
houndstooth cloth bucket seats. With performance in mind, this IROC
Z/28 only includes the interior options of air conditioning, full
analog gauges and a Delco AM/FM/CD player radio. This IROC Z/28 has
lived in California and Texas before becoming part of an
Arizona-based collection of rare General Motors vehicles. Other
than a Flowmaster exhaust, this vehicle is in excellent stock
configuration, only receiving replacement OEM parts as part of the
normal maintenance requirements. Recent work includes replacement
of all fluids, rear tie rods, rear shocks and hood supports. The
IROC Z/28 will be conveyed with recent maintenance history,
original Window Sticker, owner's manual, dealer brochure, period
advertising, and the car show display board. CARFAX shows
manufacturer safety recall issued on 06/01/1990: Seatbelt buckles.
